Mayamohini Malayalam 2012 Movie Review

The film starts with a plane accident in which a small child narrowly escapes. He is then looked after by his maternal uncle (Vijayaraghavan), and all the family's wealth will be inherited to him. As per their astrologer, in the future he should marry a girl whose star is Chothi nakshatra only then will he prosper in life. The boy grows up to be a young man Balakrishnan (Biju Menon), who is unsuccessful in anything he does.
He falls in love with Maya (Lakshmi Rai), the daughter of a wealthy businessman named Patella, who is settled in Mumbai. When Patella gets to know about their relation, he objects and Maya elopes with Balakrishnan and gets married. In the meantime Lakshmi (Baburaj), a friend of Balakrishnan tries to convince Balakrishnan's uncle about the marriage and the uncle agrees to visit the couple. But then, on the second day of the marriage Maya leaves him and returns back to Mumbai.
Balakrishnan did not want his uncle to know that his wife left him, so he hires a girl Mayamohini (Dileep) to act as his wife. The story continues with many twists and later it is revealed that Mayamohini is actually a man named Mohanakrishnan, who the Kerala Police had been searching for so long. He had been put into a trap by Patella and his men, who killed Mohan's father to get hold of their property. Balakrishnan agrees to help him in his quest. They travel to Mumbai and there they meet Maya who was working as a club dancer and she agrees to help them. She tells all truth about Pattela. Pattela is opening a new business in town and on the inauguration day has arranged some dance as well. Mohan gets dressed up as Mayamohini again. Pattela invites her to his room and tries to have sex with her. In the meantime, police also arrives there to arrest Mohan. In the shootout that follows, Pattela gets killed and later Mohan is released of his charges.
Later Lakshmi's family came for marriage with mayamohini.Lakshmis sister also came along with him.Her star also Chothi.

മാന്നാര്‍ മത്തായി(Innocent) ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍(Saikumar) ഗോപലക്രിഷ്ണുനന്‍(Mukesh)മാന്നാര്‍ മത്തായി ഒരു നാടകം നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു വക്തി ആണ്. മാന്നാര്‍ മത്തായി വിട്ടിലെ ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ എന്നാ ആള്‍ കടന്നു വരുന്നു മത്തായി ചെട്ടന്റ കുട ഉള്ള ഗോപലക്രിഷ്ണുനന് തമിലെ എനും വാഴക്ക് ആണ്.അത് കോമഡി തരത്തിലെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു മുന്ന് പേരും പട്ടാണി ആണ്.ഗോപലക്രിഷ്ണുനനട്ടാ ജിവ്ത്ത്തിലെ കടന്നു വരുന്ന മീര (വാണി വിശ്വനാഥ്) ആണ്. കഥ കൊണ്ട് പോകുന്നത് . ബുസിനെസ്സ്മന്‍ ആയി വെല്ലാന്‍ മഹേന്ദ്ര വര്‍മ (ബിജു മേനോന്‍) കടന് വരുന്നു കഥ മാറുന്നു.
           
The drama troupe soon faces trouble without a lead actress. Since Gopalakrishnan was the guy who created all the trouble, he took up the responsibility to find an actress. All his efforts to find a lead actress goes in vain. During the course of his search, while he was travelling in a taxi, a girl named "Meera" (Vani Viswanath) jumps in front of the car to commit suicide. Gopalakrishnan rescues and brings her to the drama camp. When she regains consciousness, they make her the lead actress of the troupe. To get the role of the hero, Gopalakrishnan mocks her as his cousin, and she will only act if they make him the hero. Balakrishnan however does nor readily believe in this and he brings Gopalakrishnan's mom (Sukumari) to the camp to clarify. When the truth was about to come out, Gopalakrishnan tells his mom that he told everyone that she is his cousin because he is in love with her. His mom asks him to marry her. With no way out they try to mock their marriage in front of all.
After the marriage, Meera tries to commit suicide again by jumping into the well. Gopalakrishnan slaps her and she loses consciousness. They all takes her to the doctor where she gains consciousness. She then says that she does not remember anyone from the troupe and she is the wife of a wealthy businessman called Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon). They inform this news to Mahendra Varma, and he comes and take her to his home. Later she calls Gopalakrishnan and says that she is going to commit suicide, and they all rush to their home. By that time she had lit herself, and they all could only watch her die.
After 6 months, when the troupe was in Mangalore, Balakrishnan happens to see Meera on the roadside. She reappears in their home later and tells them the truth. She said that her real name is Stella, and Meera was the name of Mahendra Varma's real wife played by Geetha Vijayan. It was his real wife who died that day. He had hired an actress to act as if she was Meera and to provide proof that she had suicidal tendencies. They try to take revenge against Mahendra Varma and put him behind the bars.
Mahendra Varma kidnaps Gopalakrishnan's mother and bargains with Gopalakrishnan to bring Stella to them. In the mean time, the villain of the first movie Ramji Rao Speaking, Ramji Rao (Vijayaraghavan) also surfaces. He kidnaps Meera and bargains money. Now Gopalakrishnan is trapped in between two kidnapping attempts, and he has to rescue both his mom and his wife. In the hilarious situations that follow, using their clever tactics, Gopalakrishnan and his gang rescue them both. Mahendra Varma falls off from the top of a building and dies, while his dead body falls in the truck driven by Ramji Rao, and he drives off.

Nayakan 1987 Movie Review

കമല ഹസന്‍ പഴായ നല്ല ഒരു മൂവി ആണ് നയഗന്‍. മൂവിയുടെ പേര് പോലെ തന്ന കമല ഹസന്‍ നയഗന്‍ ആണ്.

Sakthivelu Nayakar (Kamal Haasan) is born to an anti-government union leader. The child, Velu, is tricked by the police into locating his father, and then witnesses his father's death in a police shootout. After doing the final death rites of his father, he kills the person who was the cause for his father's death and escapes to Bombay.
Stranded and homeless in the big city, he is rescued by a kind-hearted Muslim fisherman who takes him into his home in the suburban slums of Dharavi. His foster-father is also a small-time smuggler known for his generosity in the slum. Upon his running afoul of a senior crime lord, the corrupt local police officer named Kelkar, arrests the fisherman on smuggling charges and subsequently murders him. Velu Naiker, now a young man who has come into his own, goes in search of the officer and bludgeons him to death for as revenge.
With this act, he is seen as a saviour and a man to be feared amongst the slum residents. As their godfather and protector, he flourishes by resuming his late foster-father's local smuggling activities. He marries a destitute school-girl-turned-prostitute (Saranya) and has two children. Conflicts and power struggles occur in the smuggling world, in which Velu's wife becomes a casualty. Velu's kids are sent away to Chennai as a result and return years later to their father's home, as young adults.
Surya (Nizhalgal Ravi), Velu's son, is eager to join his father in his activities, despite his father's reluctance. For his first real test, he is required to eliminate a potential witness against his father; he does this by hiring outside thugs. They succeed in eliminating the witness, but their failure to cover their tracks leads police to him at a petrol bunk and an accident costs him his life. Velu is heartbroken. Velu's daughter (Karthika) is at odds with her father over his form of justice and killings. To this he replies "எல்லாரையும் நிறுத்த சொல்லு, அப்புறம் நான் நிறுத்தறேன்" (Ask everybody to stop, after that I will do so). As a last straw, she leaves her father and detaches her relationship.
A newly appointed assistant police commissioner (Nassar) starts afresh to bring Velu Nayakar to justice over his alleged activities and manages to secure an arrest warrant. This commissioner is, unbeknownst to both, Velu's son-in-law. After continued pursuit resulting in the thrashings by police and self-immolation of slum dwellers, Velu surrenders to the police to spare the lives of the residents of his slum. He is tried in court but is released due to the lack of adequate evidence. A supportive and emotional crowd gathers at the courthouse, awaiting his release. Velu is greeted by an excited crowd but their joy turns to sorrow when he is shot by his mentally disabled adopted son, who turns out to be the son of Inspector Kelkar.
                    Nayagan, also known as Nayakan, is a 1987 Tamil biopic, written and directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Kamal Haasan.
